GRANITE.

General Cleaning Schedule.

There’s so much information out there regarding Stone maintenance, this is why we have put together this comprehensive care and maintenance guide so you can be sure

DAILY.

Clean spills with a dish cloth and hot water to keep your Bench-Tops clean through-out the day, a good Granite cleaner such as Nu Stone Cleaner which will clean, protect and leave your Bench-Tops with a streak free shine and we recommend using this at the end of the day.

Weekly.

We recommend clearing the Bench-Tops of items and giving a full wipe down using the Nu Stone Cleaner including the edges, this will remove all debris and dust from the surface and lesson the chance of gunk build up around items which can, if left, become stubborn to remove and even cause some oily looking stains to the Granite.

Monthly.

If you have kept up with your weekly clean schedule there’s not much more to know, you can use a Topical Granite Polish for your monthly clean if desired we recommend this one: MB Stone Shine.

Yearly.

A yearly test is advised to determine whether your Granite Bench-Tops are due for re-sealing, this is a simple test using water, drip a little water onto your Granite Benchtop (about the size of a Dollar coin), if the stone darkens within 10 minutes your stone should be re-sealed. When you feel your stone needs re-sealing, contact us and we will be happy to provide a quotation for you.
